This book provides an understanding of Matteo Thun through the various works that comprise his oeuvre, “from the spoon to the city” – from coffee cups to the restaurants, from mountain resorts to wristwatches, from saucepans to solitary villas. It also means exploring his manifold expressive media – masterplans and energy systems, watercolors and drawings, photographs and sketches – as well as key themes in his work, such as ecology and the environment, economics and aesthetics, and energy saving and contemporary luxury.

Sustainability is a leitmotif of Matteo Thun’s oeuvre. And underpinning all of this is Matteo Thun’s holistic approach to his work.
