A place for the whole family to come and bathe – the new F.3 family and recreational aquatic centre in Fellbach has something to offer everyone. The combined baths were opened on 15th September 2013. 4a Architekten have transferred the three separate areas – the sports area with indoor pool and open-air pool, the adventure pool and the sauna world – into a flowing form that gently blends into the landscape and picks up on regional aspects in both shape and design.

The contract won by 4a Architekten from Stuttgart to redesign a villa with listed-building status in Théoule offers wonderful prospects. Built in 1926, the building is not only impressive because of its splendid location on the French Riviera, but is also something special with regard to its history: The Villa Le Trident is the first of numerous villas built and resided in by the American architect Barry Dierks on the coast of the Mediterranean.

Therme Wien – Vienna Spa, Austria
Nestling in the spa gardens of Vienna Oberlaa, Austria’s largest spa resort invites visitors to enjoy a special relaxing experience with a varied range of pools, rest areas, gastronomic and beauty facilities. The driving force behind the design concept of this new spa resort is nature itself: the central motif is a stream that winds and washes through and around stones, becoming sometimes narrower, sometimes wider. 4a Architekten have succeeded in shaping a unique multisensory bathing landscape with this inspiration in mind.
