Architecture of the Future – the largest conference in Eastern Europe took place in Kyiv, bringing together more than 700 guests, Ukrainian and world-renowned experts.
During 2 days the participants of the conference studied practical cases and engaged into communication with the world’s leading experts in the field of AEC.
The representatives of such companies as Active House Academy, Archimatika, Atrium Studio, AVG, BIM Equity, BuroHappold Engineering, CKS, C.F. Moller Architects, Digital Architecture and Robotic Lab, Dmytro Aranchii Architects, Drozdov&Partners, Foster+Partners, Gensler, MVRDV, PLITOS, Reynaers, Simone de Gale Architects, UNStudio/UNSense, Urban Experts, ZAHA Hadid Architects, and others gave lectures and participated in the discussion panels on one stage in Kyiv.
«Architecture of the Future Conference has become a landmark event for the Ukrainian community in the field of AEC. We did not just gather the world’s best experts in architecture, but discussed the future of AEC industry from the perspective of the application of up-to-date technologies.
Such a conference was held in Ukraine for the very first time and can already be called an outstanding event for the Ukrainian AEC professional community.

UAE architect will be a curator of Architecture of the Future Conference
Riyad Joucka, an architect and founder of MEAN + MEAL (UAE) was invited as a curator of Architecture of the Future Conference.
Riyad’s main task as a curator of the conference will be the development of the conference program, the topical subjects, as well as the concepts for panel discussions among professionals of the AEC Industry.
Riyad Joucka is an Architect and Researcher. In 2015, Riyad founded the Middle East Architectural Network (MEAN), an innovative architecture practice, the synergistic counterpart to Middle East Architecture Laboratory (MEAL), an experimental design repository.
He worked in New York and Hong Kong from 2012- 2017 at the intersection of academia and practice, on complex structures, facades and building technologies, with a focused interest in design that is at the junction of technology, material research, and computation.
Architecture of the Future Conference will be held in Kiev on October 4-5, 2018 and will bring together architects, engineers and developers from Eastern Europe to discuss the future of the architecture through advanced technologies.

Future Trends in Architecture
The architecture of the future trends will be discussed in Ukraine for the first time
October 4-5, 2018 Kyiv, will be the main venue where the world’s leading architectural firms and development and investment companies in Eastern Europe will meet within the framework of the Future of Architecture conference.
World and domestic experts will discuss advanced technologies that are used in the AEC (architecture / design / construction) industries. The Architecture of the Future will be a place for the exchange of experience, knowledge and technology between architects and developers from 12 countries of Eastern Europe.
