Comprised of a 20-story tower and a 5-story annex, these two components are externally linked by a series of four bridges, and vertically linked by numerous interior voids and staircases.

Design: SHoP Architects. Award nomination for DMD Weathering Steel patina on the exterior of the Barclays Center, New York, New York, NY. The Barclay’s Center Arena was constructed with a latticework composed of 12,000 pre-weathered steel panels. Taking a cue from the Japanese Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, the tactility of the metal is designed to gracefully age without comprising the integrity of the cladding.

La Queue du Lezard, Mixed-used Leisure Complex

At the core of the urban renewal project for the Mireuil district of La Rochelle, “La Queue du Lézard” (“The Lizard’s Tail”) is a complex of local community amenities which is part of a plan proposed by ANRU (the French National Agency for Urban Renewal) developed together with landscape designers from the In Situ firm. A community centre, city sports grounds and a games library are grouped together in a 200 m long narrow strip made up of alternating built elements and voids.

Benoy is proud to announce the opening of the latest real estate flagship to grace western China, Chengdu International Finance Square (Chengdu IFS).
Appointed as the Masterplanner, Architect, Interior and Graphic Designer for Chengdu IFS, Benoy was part of the January grand opening ceremony to showcase the city’s new landmark complex. The major event was overseen by the world’s largest giant panda installation, “I Am Here”, by artist Lawrence Argent – highlighting the significance of the development.

Mixed-use leisure building, containing a 1,000 sqm casino, a restaurant, a 100-seat conference room, bowling, bar, brewery, night club, several multimedia rooms, offices and workshops, parking for 250 cars.
Composed of six blocks containing the different entities of the program and arranged mainly on a single level, this new complex offers a clear and simple internal route through the large glass-roofs taken between these six volumes.

Atlantic Yards Barclays Center New York

Forest City Enterprises, Inc. and Shanghai-based Greenland Group Co. today announced that they have completed a definiteive agreement for a joint venture to develop Atlantic Yards, a 22-acre residential and commercial real estate project in Brooklyn. The two companies had announced a memorandum of understanding for the joint venture in October.

The joint venture, which is expected to close in 2014, would cover both phase one and phase two of the project – excluding Barclays Center and B2.
