Towers for OMA masterplan, Bègles

S333 has been announced as finalists in a competition to design a cluster of residential towers in OMA’s masterplan for Bègles, Bordeaux. S333 worked with landscape architect Rémi Salles to transform a 1.5ha industrial site into a new residential neighbourhood with 175 units, recreational areas and local amenities.

One Church Square London Housing, SW1 Homes

Design: Paul Davis + Partners. Paul Davis + Partners has recently completed a quality, sustainable project for keyworker housing in Pimlico that respects the adjacent grade I listed St James the Less Church.

One Church Square is situated on the busy Vauxhall Bridge Road, and Paul Davis + Partner’s design ingeniously exploits its quieter elevation by locating its entrance off the public square it shares with the church. This move ensures that a previously under-utilised square has been revitalised and also reinforces its connection to the church and its grounds.

The progression of the second phase of the project will create 239 dwellings, forming part of the award-winning new community positioned to the east of central Harlow in Essex. Designed for client Bellway Homes Ltd. in conjunction with landowners Newhall Projects Ltd., the brief called for a design that moved away from generic volume housing, creating a project that used high-quality architecture to build a new neighbourhood in this rural location.

551W21 New York Condo, NYC Apartments

551 West 21st Street

Scott Resnick and Brown Harris Stevens announce the opening of the sales office for 551W21, the new 19-story luxury condominium in West Chelsea by architects Foster + Partners. Designed by Lee Mindel of Shelton, Mindel & Associates, the sales office meticulously presents the signature interior elements of Foster + Partners’ building design.

The condominium overlooks the Hudson River and features 44 large-scaled residences. Beyer Blinder Belle is the executive architect for the building.
