Building Reskinning Competition: architecture contest

Bloomframe Building: Hofman Dujardin Architects

The Bloomframe® building consists out of 43 apartments, offices and shops. Each compact apartment is equipped with a Bloomframe® balcony to create outdoor space. By transforming the facade into an accessible floor several square meters are added to the apartment.

Oriel Chambers Liverpool by Peter Ellis

This is the world’s first building featuring a metal-framed glass curtain wall. Designed by architect Peter Ellis and built in 1864, it is located on Water Street near the town hall in Liverpool, England. Due to its outstanding importance, it has been grade I listed.
