Design: Denton Corker Marshall, architects. Selected from over 60 entries in an international two-stage design competition, the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology building design engages with the urban context.

Architects: Modscape. This house makes the most of space in a humble and understated layout, being respectful of the original design. The new home adheres to a similar footprint, incorporating existing elements including the sandstone footings.
Design: CHROFI, architects. Alteration to a single storey vernacular house in the rural landscape setting of northern NSW. Building fabric was salvaged but only to reveal its qualities in a meaningful way.

Architects: CHROFI. Ballast Point Park is located on a prominent headland overlooking Sydney Harbour. A former Caltex lubricant and oil storage facility, it sits at the tip of the suburb of Bichgrove in Sydney’s inner west.
Design: Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects. The Old Clare Hotel was designed as a collection of buildings, linked to each other and woven into the city. The new hotel connects the Carlton United Brewery Administration Building and the County Clare Hotel.
Design: The Buchan Group, architects. Construction of $300m retail destination in East Maitland with 69,300sqm of retail space, a 900-seat cinema complex and approximately 3,100 car parks.
Architects: ArchiBlox. The Avalon House embraces the cliffs of the Avalon beach to the north overlooking one of Sydney’s famous surf breaks. The off-the-rack home is enveloped by sublime landscape and scenery in this splendid location.
Design: Candalepas Associates, architects. The primary school building is a simple narrow extruded form approximately 80m in length, teaching spaces are located over four levels accessed from continuous external walkways to the west.
Design: Luigi Rosselli Architects. Gentle adjustments to the existing building have left ninety-five percent of the original structure standing, at the same time the additions to the front of the house and the new lower ground floor level at the back have rejuvenate its somewhat neutral appearance.
Design: BVN, Architects. The building is designed to provide a flexible space that facilitates connectivity and collaboration amongst the research community. The design reflects the idea of “seeing the science”, whereby the form of the building reflects the inner workings and functions.
Design: Candalepas Associates, architects. The site is one which is repeatedly affected by the persistent salt-mist of a tidal beach. The horizontality of the plan follows the natural strata and beds the project into its natural dunes.
Architect AR-MA’s pavilion Trifolium (2014), designed and built for the Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation’s (SCAF) annual competition Fugitive Structures, used advanced computer design technologies to complete a research-oriented brief.
