Masquespacio presents Kento, their last project for an Oriental food chain in Valencia, focused mainly on sushi and other specialties from the Japanese kitchen. Founded by Eduardo Hijlkema the new chain counts on the consultancy of well-known chef and youtuber Taka Sasaki.
This project was designed by Carme Pinós Desplat and responds to their desire to integrate the new building in the cemetery grounds without distorting the great poetics these emanate.
The project, designed by Ramón Esteve, seeks the maximum environmental and landscape integration because of its border location between a zone of pine forests and the grapevine fields, being diluted practically in the vegetation.
The proposal by Santiago Vives, Tomas Montis, Adrià Clapés consists of implementing a compact building structured around four landscaped courtyards. The site has an archaeological protection. All units and circulation areas have natural light, cross ventilation and excellent connections between interior space and the garden, a clear visual control of room modules.

Each of these pieces is deposited half a floor below the previous one. This way, its alternating arrangement allows all the spaces to have a direct view over the beach.
Design: Masquespacio. La Manera Café is adaptable to each moment and requirement, starting with a brunch and coffee during the morning, converting itself in a restaurant during the evening and ending up as a cocktail bar.
