The Landing in Christchurch, NZ
Architects: The Buchan Group. Construction of two new buildings in Stage two of The Landing have recently been completed at the new retail and mixed-use centre in Christchurch’s Wigram Skies community.
The Hub in Christchurch Building
Architects: The Buchan Group. Transformation of The Hub begun in late 2012 after a land swap with the Christchurch City Council enabled the realignment of Chalmers Street and an increase of the centre footprint to 25,000 sqm.
Auckland TVNZ Television Network Centre refurb
Trans-Tasman architecture practice, Warren and Mahoney, has wins accolades for their refurbishment of the Auckland TVNZ Television Network Centre. The project won Best in Category for Architectural Design; Interior Design at the 2017 Good Design Awards, and Best International Design at the 2017 Australian Interior Design Awards.
Kopua House on Waiheke, NZ
Design: Daniel Marshall Architect. The site for this residence was a steep basin sloping down to the north east facing a sheltered bay on the eastern side of Waiheke Island. Two 100 year old Pohutakawa trees marked the transition from the earth to the sea.
Elizabeth Street House Auckland
Design: Dorrington Atcheson Architects. This family home fits the owners’ brief for an interpretation of contemporary living that celebrates the raw expression of materials with an unexpected combination of openness and enclosure.
Kirkmay House Kohimarama
Design: Dorrington Atcheson Architects. This tight site in Kohimarama granted the possibility to design a house on a reduced platform that dropped off to a cliff and pocket of native bush.
offSET Shed House in Gisborne, Residence
Design: Irving Smith Jack Architects. From a context of accrued simple shed-esk dwellings in an isolated and south facing New Zealand coastal surf community, a strategy of sequencing building ‘sets’ (aka surf) was generated to scale new form to its surrounds

Design: Woods Bagot, architects. This precinct is one of the few anchor projects in the Christchurch Blueprint that will be utilised on a daily basis by both Christchurch citizens and visitors and therefore must be meaningful to both audiences.
Easterbrook House in Titirangi, Auckland Property
Design: Dorrington Atcheson Architects. Taking its design cues from the utilitarian forms of a tent and a shed, this Titirangi home for an extended family is a duo of compact buildings that uses a humble set of materials to allow the landscape its rightful place in the scheme.
House Under Eaves Point Wells
Design: MRTN Architects. Situated in a new development less than an hour from Auckland this new house was one of the first built on a flat site that has been split up to create well sized semi-suburban semi-coastal sections on what was once rural land.

Design: Strachan Group Architects. On a tight, compact urban site, close to Takapuna Beach in Auckland, New Zealand, the three- stepped gables of these black ‘boatsheds’ appropriately reference boating and beach life.

Design: Strachan Group Architects. Having bought a farm building in Karaka, near Auckland, NZ, the clients wanted to convert the building into a 3 bedroom home with space for guests. They wanted a contemporary house that would blend in with the surroundings.
