Tour of The Gamble House, the most complete and best-preserved example of American Arts and Crafts style architecture. The house and furnishings were designed by famed architects Charles and Henry Greene in 1908 for David and Mary Gamble of the Procter & Gamble Company.
Design: Tom Wiscombe Architecture. Non-profit contemporary art museum conceived of by visionary developer Tom Gilmore and located in the heart of the Old Bank District of Downtown Los Angeles. Capitalizing on the tension between historical and contemporary architecture, it is part adaptive re-use and part new construction.
The Art, Design, & Architecture Museum presents Clocks and Clouds: The Architecture of Escher GuneWardena, a mid-career survey of the firm founded in Los Angeles by Frank Escher and Ravi GuneWardena in 1997.

Design: Fran Silvestre Arquitectos. This project lays on the ground, adapting to its hard slope and conditions, carrying out a change of direction at house level in order to frame the horizon of the city till the ocean.
Architects: JFAK. For the Roberts Pavilion project had to meet the challenges of a compact site, the architects sank the central basketball arena below grade and placed other functions around the edges.
Design: Anonymous Architects. Starting with a vacant lot with a very steep down-slope from the street, the design of the house places the carport on the roof with the residence below.

The Southern California Institute of Architecture news for 2106 – SCI-Arc Launches New Scholarship for LAUSD Students, full-tuition scholarship for current Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) students.
Design: ROBERT KERR architecture design. This Californian beach house responds to extraordinary site conditions as a progressive revealing of a sculpted interior. Cantilevering on 3 sides, the top level is sculpted to express openings and exaggerate its weight.
Design: Matt Gagnon. Commissioned by the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs to create public art for the LA Fire Department’s Air Operations facility, this is a sculptural installation located at the Van Nuys Airport in California.
