Global design and consulting firm Woods Bagot has designed the new Los Angeles Business Lounge for international airlines Qantas, Cathay Pacific and British Airways at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Design: Greg Wolfson Interiors. The home was a traditional modern home built in 1960 and poorly updated in the 80’s. Mirrored walls abounded. Bad textured wall paper, ugly fixtures, built in shelves, etc.
Design: McClean Design. This home on Tanager is the second of three we have designed on this tiny but very exclusive street in West Hollywood. Known for being on its own promontory, the views from this street are some of the best in the city.
Design: Pablo Jendretzki, Argentine Architect: full reconfiguration of a Hal Levitt 50’s house. The main premise of this intervention was to open the the house and connect as much as possible the exterior with the interior.
Design: Belzberg Architects. The renovation and adaptive re-use of Occidental College’s historic Johnson Hall, integrates the enduring traditional qualities of a small liberal arts college with new educational practices.
The historic exterior of the building is preserved, whilst the interior is fundamentally rethought. The effect is fully transformative: rather than simply housing technology, the building has become technology itself.
Christopher W. Mount Gallery Architecture Exhibitions. Specializing exclusively in architecture and design material, the newly established Christopher W. Mount Gallery, with locations in Los Angeles and New York, opens to the public on May 23, 2014.
Uniquely positioned among traditional American galleries, Mount Gallery presents drawings, sketches, models, photographs, prints, and art experiments by prominent figures engaged in the design arts.
Design: McClean Design. Designed for a family with three small girls this house needed to respond to the busy street it is located on. We came up with a sequence of entry which uses several devices to separate the occupants from the noise beyond.
The drive court is screened from the street by high gates and tall landscaped elements. This area connects to an inner courtyard through a curving glass screen designed to allow the light to pass through but shield from the cars and noise.

Design: Morphosis, architects. This new Los Angeles facility is located in the heart of Hollywood at 5960 West Sunset Boulevard, and designed by Pritzker Prize–winning architect Thom Mayne, the facility will house around 220 students, as well as residence hall staff and several visiting faculty in more than 100,000 sqft of classroom facilities, production and performance studios.
Design: Maxime Jacquet, This contemporary oasis located in Beverly Hills is the the vision of Maxime Jacquet. It is a modern space with the unexpected comfort of its high wood ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, rock work, and large art murals of legends like Jimi Hendrix and Elvis Presley.
The team of Grimshaw and Gruen Associates has been approved to begin the third and final phase of the new LA Union Station Master Plan. The Masterplan will include a new multi-modal concourse, a relocated bus plaza and the potential integration of a high speed rail station at the site.
SCI-Arc has traditionally relied on erecting temporary graduation pavilions in its parking lot. But in 2012 they staged a competition to design a permanent structure. The winning team, P-A-T-T-E-R-N-S, came up with a dramatic space that completely transforms the downtown architecture school’s campus and the surrounding Arts District.
Los Angeles Public Park + Community & Senior Center, California, USA – Lehrer Architects is honored to announce that Spring Street Park and Potrero Heights Community & Senior Center are both nominated for a Best of Year Award, by Interior Design magazine. Both architecture projects are national finalists in the “Outdoor” category.
The overall objective of the media installation is to enhance the passenger experience and bring back the romance and magic of travel. The adventure begins the moment passengers step into the New TBIT.
The project is a state-of-the-art facility which helps fulfill Astellas’ mission of developing innovative pharmaceuticals for cancer patients with still unmet medical needs.
