Architects: SPA Design. The APathy House is for an art collector, and was designed as a place for calm and meditation. On a square plot of 30m x 30m, the house is a roughly a square of 20m x 20m that occupies the centre of the site.
There are various elements of Unbuilt Chandigarh, that were conceived by Le Corbusier but remained confined to documents, pictures and archives. The design of the Capitol Complex was the jewel in the crown wore by Corbusier’s Chandigarh.

3XN’s design team was invited for the event which unveiled the 77.000 m2 project inspired by the Indian nature and Mumbai’s mangroves. Just as clusters of mangrove stalks seemingly braid together at the base, the two towers in this mixed use development converge at the lower retail floors, rising up to provide amenity spaces on the podium; and grow into the sky as a cluster of slender trees providing some of Mumbai’s most thoughtfully laid out residential accommodation.
