At Tesdorpfstrasse 8 in Hamburg, near the Dammtor railway station, a new office building has been completed to a design by architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners (gmp) which meets top energy conservation standards and is likely to receive the gold certificate under DGNB rules.
This residential development uses simple timber-clad blocks and thoughtful landscaping to create good new communities. This former industrial zone south of the city centre now contains 30 homes in 4 blocks by LAN.
