Tempelhof Airport Tower Design Competition. Architecture contest for a £4.3m overhaul of Tempelhof Airport’s former air traffic control tower. The former airport closed in 2008 and became a 400-hectare public park, and has been used as an emergency refugee camp since September last year.
Design: Peter Ruge Architekten. House M is a detached town house in the middle of Berlin for an academic Japanese-German family. The rec-tangular site stretches 15 m along the road in the west and extends 40 m to the east.

Design: nps tchoban voss. The area along the river Spree has from the historical point of view not much in common with the open and classic promenades one sees in Paris or Rome. Although in the heart of Berlin, this shore area belonged to the least desirable parts of the city.
The concept for the facades plays with the contrast of open and closed dependent upon the surroundings and importance of natural perspectives.
Design: Baukind. Since April 2014, 30 children, ages 1-6 years, play, run around, explore, and cuddle in the 180 square meters large Kita Zauberzwerge (nursery“Magic Dwarves”), which is located in Berlin Steglitz.
