BCDA Iconic Building Design Competition

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority aims to develop its new corporate office in the northern portion of Bonifacio Global City, Taguig with an area of 7,275-square meter. Majority of the area will be allotted for open spaces, parks, landscapes, and public arts.

Ground works have commenced on this skyscraper building, designed by global architecture, urbanism and design practice Broadway Malyan, with the tower set to be the tallest residential skyscraper in The Philippines and Manila’s definiteive landmark when completed in 2016. When completed it will stand approximately 250 metres tall and feature 220 residential units over 58 storeys.

There is a way to avoid what happened in the Philippines? Below we propose a project developed by PicernoCerasoLab, on request of the Government of the Philippines. The construction of each house costs only 250 EURO. Soon the office will build a prototype scale of one to one.

This upmarket residential project in Manila – being developed by one of the largest real estate firms in Asia, Century properties – has commenced on site. Designed by international architecture, urbanism and design practice Broadway Malyan and with public space interiors by renowned luxury brand Versace Home, the towering structure will be a notable landmark within the award-winning developer’s Century City masterplan, with completion scheduled for 2015.
