The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre has announced a new partnership with Maggie’s, the charity that provides support for people living with cancer, to create a Maggie’s Centre on its main hospital site in the Wirral, Merseyside. The first of the seven portable buildings which make up the interim centre has been delivered to the hospital.
Design: Reiach and Hall, architects. The highly-anticipated new visitor centre – which is due to open on 1 March, ahead of the 700th anniversary of the battle on 23 and 24 June – uses cutting-edge technology to bring the battle to life for visitors, offering an experience which is unlike any other available in the UK. State-of-the-art installations are used to interpret and explain the events which led up to the battle, and its consequences.
The Floating house was designed for French developer H2ORIZON, that specialize in construction of floating structures, by Singapore-based architect Dymitr Malcew. The main goal of the project was to design a house that impacts surroundings in a most minimal way, but at the same time offers flexibility and out of the box living experience
Emporium is a high-end, interconnected, urban, vertical retail environment of an extremely high standard. The retail development was required to link to the established, adjacent department stores of Myer and David Jones, as well as GPO Melbourne, The Strand Arcade and Melbourne Central.
Design: BNKR Arquitectura. Some customers visited La Estaancia Chapel and contacted us to make a private chapel on their weekend`s house at Cuernavaca. They wanted an Ecumenical Chapel, a non-religious chapel, a chapel to meditate. They also liked La Estancia Chapel, but they wanted something more discreet.
This intervention transformed a residential two storey duplex in Rosemount into a single dwelling unit by completely reorganizing the interior and constructing a 430 sqft extension in the rear.

The client had just bought this un-renovated 1910’s triplex and wanted to make the top floor his own. Inspired by his Scandinavian origins and the apartment’s characteristic Montreal construction, the architect and designer shaped the renovation using raw materials such as wood and steel, peeling away at the building’s envelope.
Van Ommeren-Architects made the plans and supervised the renovation of a 1930’s house in Haarlem, Holland.
The design is completed with the placement of a contemporary extension. On the contours of the old extension a lightweight construction realized a healthier relationship with the garden.
Liong Lie Architects designed the new interior of the NTI head office in Leiden, Holland. NTI stands for more than 70 years of cutting-edge distance education. The new learning according to NTI is the ideal combination of online learning and classroom meetings.
DSituated on a cliffside overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Villa Sow in Dakar, Senegal was completed in 2011, with SAOTA – Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects, the Architects and ANTONI ASSOCIATES doing the Interior Decor. The house was designed for a Senegalese businessman and his family.
Design: Dorrington Architects & Associates. A contemporary home incorporates the charming but time-worn house, and capitalises on the stunning views on offer. The original house on this waterfront site was a double-skin brick bungalow with warren-like rooms and little connection with the foreshore.
HOK’s London based Commercial team today celebrated completion of 29-37 Davies Street, a mixed-use development located in the heart of London’s Mayfair. The landmark building, comprises of 28,856 sq ft of highly specified office space along with an impressive 211ft (64m) frontage that stretches along one of Mayfair’s most desirable streets, opposite the world famous Claridge’s Hotel.
Design: MU Architecture. “La Grange”, the new residence of the “Terrasses Cap-à-l’Aigle” development, is situated in the magnificent Charlevoix region. Its architecture highlights the rugged charm of the site while framing the breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River. Located atop a ridge and surrounded by the neighbouring forest, this large house dominates the site with its two storey height.
