On 14 June at the Winchester Discovery Centre, Live Work Play – an exciting new exhibition of architecture and landscape design projects by Hampshire architects – will open to the public.
Live Work Play showcases a range of thoughtful, robust, elegant and ingenious designs – just under 100 projects in total from within the county, and further afield in the UK and beyond.
Studioninedots and DELVA Landscape Architects present the dynamic masterplan Buiksloterham, commissioned by housing corporation de Alliantie. Through an innovative urban, landscape and social development plan, the former Nedcoat and Air Products sites in the harbour area of Buiksloterham will be regenerated in a sustainable way.
Design: Silberstein Architecture. Renovate a 3,000 square foot deck on the 17th floor of a penthouse condominium on Miami Beach, Florida. The breadth of the living room of this 17th floor penthouse condominium faces a rooftop deck that is 70’x43’.
Design: Loucas Zahos Architects: Designed primarily as a holiday house, the Currimundi Beach House captures the essence of being away from routine, inviting relaxation, retreat and enjoyment of the spectacular beachfront location it shares.

The Vibeeng School designed by Arkitema Architects is a primary school that integrates sustainability and pedagogy in a low energy class 1 school, and will be officially opened this week by the Danish Minister of Education Christine Antorini.
Design: SAOTA – Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects. Situated on the cliff edges of “The Cove” in Pezula, Knysna, this home allows one to experience a magnificent setting. The tactile and warm quality of the materials – rough, honed stone and timber enhance the overall experience.
The Korean Pavilion – curated by Mass Studies founder Minsuk Cho – awarded the Golden Lion for best pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2014. The 14th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale directed by Rem Koolhaas runs from June 7th to November 23rd, 2014.
