KYSON Architects commissioned to design new Hotel for the Blakes Hotel Group in Shoreditch, within an architectural environment that distils the character of the area’s rapidly evolving urban landscape and creative community.
Design: Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects. An old boiler building from the 1940s in the unique, historic industrial complex in Vejle. The architects have designed the 1,200 sqm refurbishment project to provide space for the new Design Driven Innovation Centre housing 30 creative companies.
This modest pavilion teaching building design by Page \ Park Architects nestles into the site at the foot of the Ochil Hills alongside the impressive principle school building, designed by William Henry Playfair.
Design: Tezuka Architects. The annex to Fuji Kindergarten contains English classrooms and a school bus waiting area. A twisting zelkova tree dominates the site and while half of the building is exterior space, the footprint does not define the boundary between outside and in.

Design: A31 Architecture. The landscape design takes advantage of site specific features such as microclimatic and topographical conditions as well as the existing vegetation to blend the hotel exterior seamlessly into the surrounding natural setting.
Design: Bruner/Cott Architects and Planners. Student gathering and event space in a tactful but raw reworking of 1925 McKim Mead & White steam plant. The industrial interior was reconfigured to accommodate performances, dance parties, speakers and student gatherings.
Design: Park Associati, Architects. The store is accommodated within the boundaries of the famous quadrilateral of Milan fashion. The building was the famous old home of Brioni’s tailoring shop and offices.
