More photos – a group of students from architecture, design and art universities spent 10 days in a summer workshop. They built 3 floating structures: a shelter, a fireplace and a sauna as a response to the changing environment of the area.
Design: Benoy, Architects. Future mixed-use development within the major Lujiazui Harbour City area. The 250,000 sqm of former shipyard land since the 1800s to be redeveloped into a major destination for the city.
Design: Gus Wüstemann Architects. A Spanish atrium house, designed for outdoor enjoyment every day of the year. This home for a family with children is in a private housing development next to a golf course. The concept focused on year-round outdoor living.
Design: Barkow Leibinger architects. New 3000sqm headquarters building with offices and exhibition areas. Gleaming laser-cut stainless steel fins cover the façades in a soft gradient.

Photos of emerging dockland architecture in Copenhagen: interesting new residential buildings along Indiakaj and Dampfærgevej.
Design: Herbst Architects. New photos of this building designed for occupation in the summer months. Boundaries between the built form and nature are challenged to heighten the experience of immersion in nature. The architects reference the nostalgia surrounding the “Kiwi bach”.
Design: LSA Architects. A residence with light-filled and spacious internal spaces, which maintain strong connections to the exterior of the building and the home’s multiple courtyards.
Design: Zotov&Co, architects. The main advantage is the separate exit door. Because the freedom is above everything. Сourtyard garden is an additional space for conference room as well as a place for rest. The architects were searching an office for rent, but everywhere interiors were decorated with laminate, wallpaper, plastic, trendy “peach” color. This space was not “spoiled” yet.
Design: Joseph Grima/Space Caviar. Arcipelago di Ocno, a new aquatic installation on the Italian Capital of Culture 2016 waterfront by this Genoa-based architectural studio. The outline evokes the lotus.

BIG has stacked 9 container units in a circle, and created 15 studio residences framing a centralized winter garden; this is used as a common meeting place for students.
The Blumenhaus building design by Wiel Arets Architects (WAA) is an integral component of a larger effort by the city of Zürich to upgrade its Escher-Wyss district through a metamorphosis of new developments.
