Dubai’s biggest interior design show is heading to the Forest!
INDEX 2017: A DESGIN EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER
The team behind the hugely-popular INDEX Design Series has revealed scintillating plans for an all-sense tingling, spellbinding exhibition that promises to take visitors deep into the heart of the forest.
Bristling with fully-immersive feature experiences allowing guests to see, hear, feel, smell and even taste their way around the show, the 27th edition of INDEX will focus on Design for the Senses, and aims to offer interior designers, architects and procurement professionals the ultimate creative platform on which to network and source some of the finest furniture and décor found anywhere in the world.

A pride of big name celebrity designers are set to be found prowling deep in the INDEX exhibition too. London style icon Henry Holland and Welsh award-winning luxury guru Bethan Gray will lead the pack, taking part in their own exclusive In Conversation seminars. Jo Hamilton – widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading interior designers and a respected public speaker, writer and broadcaster – will head-up the four-day festival’s Design Talks.
Industry leading designers from Harrods – the world’s most famous department store – will bring unrivalled luxury when they create an exclusive VIP lounge for the exhibition this May.
Interior stylists from the high-end London retailer’s interior design arm Harrods Interiors are crafting a five-star retreat within the forest paradise. The lounge – set in the heart of the show’s new luxury hall – will take guests into a lush organic oasis, where Harrods Interiors will be presenting their own debut furniture range, the Harrods of London collection, which officially launched in March. This will be the first time that pieces from the stunning collection will be displayed outside the British capital – and marks Harrods Interiors’ first design of a public space anywhere in the UAE.
Trend Forecasting agency, Scarlet Opus, and INDEX will be working to bring you the INDEX Design Hub, comprised of a Trend Hub – an area on the show floor where visitors can be inspired by interactive Trend led activity- and Trend Tour – a self-guided tour that encompasses international and local exhibitor products; another fun initiative for visitors to INDEX Design Series to enjoy.

The 2017 INDEX Design Series will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre between May 22nd and 25th. Last year, the show – which is organised by dmg events and runs alongside Workspace and Middle East Stone and Middle East Covering – attracted more than 34,000 designers, retailers and high net-worth individuals from over 100 countries.
