The most populous province of the country, Ontario is home to the nation’s capital city, Ottawa, as well as one of the world’s biggest and busiest cities, Toronto, thus making it one of the main destinations for visitors from all around the world and domestically to explore and take in the sights.

Indeed, there are some rather iconic landmarks that can easily be found within the province, with some standing out a lot more than others, however which are the top spots that need to be seen when there? Take a look at just some of those that we have highlighted below!

Niagara Falls

Perhaps one of the biggest attractions and spots that can be visited when in Ontario is Niagara Falls. Although it is a city by itself, Niagara Falls is perhaps better known because of the extraordinary waterfall that is available in this particular location.

Part of the Niagara River, the falls continues to attract millions of visitors each year due to the spectacular setting and providing viewers with some of the most extraordinary views that nature has available to offer. It is Canada’s most internationally recognised tourist attraction, and it would have to be considered scandalous not to go on an excursion or at least visit it.

Caesars Windsor

When heading to Ontario, it would be wise to go and visit a traditional brick-and-mortar casino as the gambling scene is thriving within Canada at the moment. Of course, whilst many will have already experienced authentic online casino gaming via the use of Casumo and their huge choice of live casino games, there is no real substitute to being able to experience it in person.

Indeed, there is plenty that can be done when in this particular spot as the establishment has a number of exceptional amenities on offer to explore and partake in. There are excellent restaurants to dine in, whilst there are a number of exceptional shows to watch and enjoy, as well as shops to visit and a swimming pool that can be used in conjunction with staying at the hotel on site.

However, as with most casinos, the best thing about this spot in Ontario is in regards to the number of games that can be played. Caesars Windsor provides people with the opportunity to choose from over 2,500 different slots and almost 100 different tables!

CN Tower

As mentioned, the city of Toronto is situated within Ontario, and it should not come as a surprise that it is home to some of the biggest spots that need to be visited when in the second largest province in Canada.

Whilst Ripley’s Aquarium and Rogers Centre are both located in the city, so is the impressive and world-famous CN Tower. This tower is one of the most iconic structures in the world and offers visitors the opportunity to get views that are simply breathtaking, with the entire city and Lake Ontario possible to view. Those who manage to go on a clear day could be able to see the mist that emanates from Niagara Falls.

Standing at 553 meters tall, the CN Tower is available to visitors at most points throughout the day and night, with individuals able to get an elevator ride up to the observation deck, as well as eat at the restaurant.

Parliament Hill

Those that head to the nation’s capital, Ottawa, and are on a trip to take in some of the iconic landmarks and learn a little about Canada and the way the country operates, then it would be essential to go to Parliament Hill.

The building is located in a scenic setting within the capital as it can be found on a rise that is above the Ottawa River. The Peace Tower can be spotted, and many will be able to get their own picture of the iconic structure as the 90-meter high tower is the most photographed in the world, whilst the Centennial Flame is located in front of the building.

If you go in the summer months, then the Changing of the Guard can be witnessed, whilst those who head here on July 1 will be able to enjoy the biggest Canada Day celebrations possible!
