Many punters are also choosing to gamble online nowadays, and there are plenty of great places to play among the latest casino sites.

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at our selection of new Las Vegas casino buildings…

The Drew

Located on the site of the old El Rancho Hotel and Casino, The Drew is a stunning development currently under construction on the Las Vegas Strip. The building of this casino has been a tumultuous process to say the least, with multiple issues including bankruptcy and multiple changing of hands hampering progress.

In fact, the resort, once known as the Fontainebleau, started off in 2007. Bankruptcy soon thanks to the recession and building stopped in 2009. Carl Icahn took over the property the next year for $148 million and then passed it to Steve Witkoff for $600 million in 2017. Since then there has been a rejuvenation of both interest and hope in the project.

The Drew is now slated for finishing in 2022, with the casino and resort expected to be the tallest building not only in Las Vegas, but the entire state of Nevada, upon completion. The Drew will have 67 floors and 3,719 rooms when completed, with a stunning, blue glass exterior making it a truly unique architectural triumph.

The Drew is set to host a theatre with a capacity of 4,000, as well as a 165,000 square-foot casino and a 65,000 square-foot spa. Add to this a  plush penthouse floor and a gaming area, dining area, bars and more and you have a truly stunning concept.

Resorts World Las Vegas

Slated for opening in summer 2021, Resorts World Las Vegas looks set to break the record for most expensive casino development ever constructed in Sin City. Owned by Malaysian gambling giant Genting, Resorts World will look to set a new standard for luxury and entertainment in the city.

The resort looks set to host a 5,000-seater theatre, a 75,000 square-foot nightclub and day club for young people. What’s more, there will be a total of 3,500 hotel rooms as well as an additional convention space that has been added to the overall casino and resort. Add to this a 220,000 square-foot pool complex, which includes an 1,800 square-foot infinity pool and you have something very special indeed.

The resort will also have an LED video globe that is over 50 feet in size. What’s more, the one of the world’s largest LED screens, a 100,000 square-foot while rest inside the resorts west tower.
