Design: BIG, architects. One of the most interesting new buildings in Denmark, a fascinating project in a key Danish cultural site. Leaving the historic dock walls untouched, the architects have placed the galleries below ground in a continuous loop around the dry dock walls – making the dock the centerpiece of the exhibition.

With the Centre d’Art Diane Dufresne, ACDF Architecture has created a new arts centre for the suburban municipality of Repentigny, providing a dynamic core where residents can take in stirring arts and culture without getting on the highway to nearby Montreal.
Design: KANVA in collaboration with NEUF architect(e)s. The Biodome, originally built as a velodrome for the 1976 Olympic Games, and converted into a natural science museum in 1992, launched an international competition in 2014 to revitalize its visitors’ experiences as part of a city-wide renewal plan to celebrate Montreal’s 375th birthday.
