State funding vetoed for the beleaguered Guggenheim Museum in Helsinki building. This follows calls to re-run the design competition on another site.
Design: Invisible Studio, Architects. A cultural regeneration project for a small coastal town in Southwest England. “The main new building is conceived as a piece of occupied landscape, which can be walked on.”
Design: OMA. A cultural center building to bring enlightenment to a new development in this famous Florida resort city, for Argentinian hotelier and developer Alan Faena.
Design: Gensler, architects. A new film released of the radical concept for a new temporary Houses of Parliament located on the River Thames, a solution for the long overdue refurbishment of the historic Palace of Westminster building.
Design: Dr Margot Krasojevic architect. The design for a solar-powered, perpetual motion, hydrofoil Trimaran yacht, commissioned by HoldenManz wine estate, Cape Town. The trimaran has a folding wingsail for a better lift to drag ratio, the sail’s frame is constructed from carbon fibre.

The abstracted shape of the corten, in conjunction with strategic boulder placement along the foreshore played an integral role in dissipating wave energy and ultimately, facilitating the deposition of sand to enhance foreshore and create habitat for flora and fauna.

On the roof of the villa is a rimless infinity pool, blending with the seascape and the sky, giving an illusion inspired by the optical phenomenon of “mirage”.
