Hotel Ukraina Competition Finalists, Moscow, Russia. The names of the first round finalists were revealed for the ‘sketch’ category. The Hotel Ukraina is one of seven Stalinist skyscrapers whose silhouettes have come to form an instantly recognisable symbol of the city. Constructed in the 1950s, the hotel building is an architectural landmark.
