Design: James K Cheng, architect. A bold reinterpretation of luxury: Each Owner’s Suite offers 800 sqft of opulence with an Ico Parisi-inspired sofa and dining room table in the living room, a plush king-sized canopy bed, large walk-in closet and marble spa bathroom with deep soaker tub.
Design: Kengo Kuma & Associates, architects. Alberni by Kuma is a 43-storey residential tower at Alberni and Cardero designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma for Westbank Projects Corp in Vancouver.
Design: Henriquez Partners Architects. The development features a 22-storey signature office tower in Vancouver BC, the first building in Canada built to have achieved the 2009 Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum standard and a 47-storey residential tower targeting LEED Gold standard.

Design: Randy Bens Architect. The building is a very long, carved rectangle that captures a stunning westward view. The house was designed around the idea of a covered, exterior living space, which is open to the view and morning light through a glazed clerestory window band.

A new parallel-parking open carport was built off the lane, to preserve more of the back yard for a new landscaped garden and terrace. The house was wrapped in a new exterior skin with carefully placed windows, to connect all interior spaces to the front and back yards.
Architect: Arthur Erickson – as a young architect Arthur Erickson had an office in The Fairview neighbourhood of Vancouver British Columbia. It was in a building, which also housed Purdy’s Chocolates. So it was not surprising when many years later he had the opportunity to design a triplex in the same area he called it “Choklit”.
Architects Shortlist. The Vancouver Art Gallery has short-listed five architectural firms as finalists for the design of its new home in downtown Vancouver. Selected from a pool of 75 firms representing 16 countries, the finalists include Diller Scofidio + Renfro (New York), Herzog & de Meuron (Basel), KPMB Architects (Toronto), SANAA (Tokyo), and Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects (New York).
The Southlands Residence nestles into a mature, heavily vegetated corner site in Vancouver’s historical Dunbar-Southlands neighborhood. A year-round fresh water stream divides the irregularly shaped property as it threads its way below Marine Drive to the south.

The 490-foot-tall Beach and Howe mixed-use tower by BIG + Westbank + Dialog + Cobalt + PFS + Buro Happold + Glotman Simpson and local architect James Cheng marks the entry point to downtown Vancouver, forming a welcoming gateway to the city, while adding another unique structure to the Vancouver skyline.
