House TTN – residence for an “urban” extended family House TTN was designed to accommodate three families – the parents and the families of their two daughters. They had decided to live together again with the birth of grandchildren.
House TN is a residence that stands along the Tama River in western Tokyo. It was designed for two sisters and their respective families. Though the sisters may be close, they do have separate families and separate lives, and so living together is another matter.

Thinned materials from forests are, now, an environmental issue as the result that human beings destroyed the balance of nature. Our trial realizes pavilion architecture only by using wasted thinned materials in experimental small scale.
N Building is a commercial structure located near Tachikawa station amidst a shopping district. Being a commercial building signs or billboards are typically attached to its facade which we feel undermines the structures’ identity.

Working with TBWAHAKUHODO we discovered an old bowling alley in a large 8-storey amusement complex in Tokyo bay area. Bowling alleys are column free, and after removing the suspended ceiling a double height space with 2m deep down-stand beams was revealed.
