The existing buildings, were very degraded, without possibility of adaptation. The complete demolition of existing buildings was authorized by Governmental Departments and the building was totally reconstructed.
Design: e|348 arquitectura. It is a building consisting of two distinct adjacent and interrelated volumes, the housing itself – consisting of two stories plus a penthouse – and a garage. Although the volume, apparently, is being treated as a solid monolith, it is fully traversed, with vertical and horizontal voids.
Architects : Estúdio Urbano Arquitectos. The house is located inside the Belas Clube de Campo, a private condominium, where topography allowed to maximize exterior areas and offer privacy to the users. The project extends throughout three floors, with the third floor is entirely occupied by the master bedroom.

Cultural Center in Castelo Branco, Portugal, design by Josep Lluís Mateo: The Cultural Center, built in phase two, though part of the original project, floats on two piles over the plaza, like a bridge, freeing up at its base a covered ice-skating rink, and giving continuity to this large public space, to the plaza and to the adjacent park.
This bright red building disintegrates the traditional distinction between walls and roofs, using detailing, material and colour as tools to achieve this.
The briefing was to build a three-bedroom house on top of a warehouse built in the 80’s, where part of the roof was made with a flat slab and a small balcony, precisely with that idea of later building the house.
The cultural center of Viana do Castelo by Eduardo Souto de Moura architect is a project inserted into the privileged space of marginal river mouth Lima, around an axis that is claimed as new cultural centrality of Minho.
