WAF Masterplanning – Future Projects winner for a masterplan at the suburb of NærHeden, Hedehusene, in the Greater Copenhagen area.
Design: Arkitema Architects. The new addition to the school in Denmark creates a further 460sqm of space, which can accommodate 100 children, spread across two floors. The extension houses three classrooms, a common room and a double height workshop as well as a large roof terrace.
Design: Architects of Invention. This design proposes a church with a vertical emphasis, creating a distilled space for religious ceremonies, and an accessible venue for the community to participate in a wide range of activities both day and night.
Design: COBE, architects. Some of Copenhagen Harbour’s old industrial buildings are preserved in the new Nordhavnen neighborhood, including the tallest silo now being transformed into housing and public functions.
