Design: Katie Paterson and Zeller & Moye. The University of Bristol has unveiled a new public artwork by artist Katie Paterson and architects Zeller & Moye. Entitled Hollow, the artwork will be permanently sited in the historic Royal Fort Gardens in Bristol.
Jun Aoki is a Japanese architect based in Tokyo. Having graduated from Tokyo University he worked at Arata Isozaki & Associates before establishing his own architecture practice in 1991. The architect has designed many Louis Vuitton stores across the world.

Design: Park Associati. A new building on a site with strong potential for its strategic position in terms of access routes and its proximity to new districts under development (Citylife, Portello).
Design: Eureka. The design started off by understanding the subtle differentiation between outside and inside, as well as the basic forms of square and circles in traditional Chinese architecture.
Design: Zaha Hadid Architects. 7 residential towers, 12 semi-detached villas and integrated landscaping with recreation facilities. The towers’ petal-shaped layouts taper inwards near the ground to optimize public space.
Design: Gordon Bunschaft of Skidmore Owings Merrill, Architects. This Manhattan skyscraper is also known as the Solow Building: 49 storeys, 672 ft high. The concave vertical slope was designed to help bring light to the street, rather than using the traditional setbacks.
Escobedo Solíz Studio. The architects describe this year’s construction as “neither an object nor a sculpture standing in the courtyard, but a series of simple, powerful actions that generate new and different atmospheres.”
Design: Populous + Ateliers 2/3/4/. This 82,000-capacity venue is at the heart of plans for a new era in French rugby. The ground will be much more than a stadium, with a leisure development programme, shops, businesses and housing.
