Abito apartments is a new concept aimed at first-time buyers, and people wanting a city crash pad. BDP came up with an innovative solution by designing the apartments from the inside out.
The citation reads “Designed around a ‘pod’ to maximise the use of the floor area, all the apartments have balconies, producing light and clean spaces. A central courtyard covered by a canopy provides community space in all weathers. Overall an innovative and quirky scheme.”

Greengate Square is Salford’s newest public space – a perfectly situated new amphitheatre area on the border between Salford and Manchester.
Located at the corner of Chapel Street and Victoria Bridge Street, Greengate Square is part of the Irwell River Park development close to Chethams School of Music, Manchester City Centre, Manchester Cathedral and the Manchester Arena, with plenty of public parking nearby.
This newly developed space was formerly a bus station and car park but has been developed to become a fantastic public space, ideal for events. Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the lit fountains while watching the world go by.
