Together with MRIO, West 8 is responsible for the master plan for the reclaimed river banks and the new urban area above the tunnels of the M30 motorway around Madrid. The master plan consists of several sub-projects:

Parque de la Arganzuela and the Salon de Pinos are connected by two slow traffic bridges, the Puente Cascara. These bridges are designed as a massive concrete domes with a rough texture. More than one hundred cables carry the slim steel deck and referring to the beleens of a whale. The ceilings have a mosaic of the Spanish artist Daniel Canogar. In the edge of the ceiling the lighting is included which illuminates the artwork and the deck by reflection. The balusters are finely detailed as bars of cast aluminum that are placed every 20 cm.
