Since the foundation of the Ismaili Centre, London — the first such Centre in the Western world — was laid in 1979, another four Centres opened in Burnaby (Vancouver), Lisbon, Dubai, and Dushanbe.

Harrods Limited is a department store located on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, London, England. It is owned by the state of Qatar via its sovereign wealth fund, the Qatar Investment Authority.

The store occupies a 5-acre (2 ha) site and has 330 departments covering 1.1 million sq ft (100,000 m2) of retail space. It is one of the largest and most famous department stores in Europe.

The London Hilton on Park Lane is a hotel situated on Park Lane, overlooking Hyde Park in the exclusive Mayfair district. It is 101 metres (331 ft) tall, has 28 storeys and 453 rooms including 56 suites and a Michelin starred restaurant Galvin at Windows on the top floor of the hotel.

It is a concrete-framed building, designed by William B. Tabler, an American architect who designed numerous Hilton hotels. It is located near the site of Londonderry House, demolished in 1962.
