First new build in a 100 years at Kensington Palace Gardens

Colwyn Foulkes & Partners have received planning consent from the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea for a new luxury residence on Palace Green, London W8. Conscious of the architectural quality of the neighbouring Kensington Palace, the external façade will have classical detailing and use bespoke materials. The 22,000 sq ft home will be the first new build at Kensington Palace Gardens for over 100 years and has been designed to achieve level 4 for Code for Sustainable homes.

Colwyn Foulkes & Partners have developed the design in conjunction with English Heritage, the Kensington Society and the Crown Estates heritage advisors.

Work is due to start on site in early 2014 in accordance with the planning performance agreement.
