“I had an idea of where I wanted to go with the concept for Sea Sentosa,” said Saxon, “but knew I couldn’t get there by myself. By bringing together some incredible artistic talent, this project has exceeded my wildest estimations. It is a tremendous honor to have won ‘World’s Best Apartment’ at the International Property Awards and an acknowledgement and tribute to our amazing team.”

”In Sea Sentosa apartments were clearly going to be the best use of the site, this meant that our challenge was to create the most harmonious apartments ever built in Asia,” said Putu Edy Semara. “My true belief is that architecture needs to be sensitive to its surroundings and express the lasting beauty of the natural environment.”

BARGE 8: The International team is further complemented by the culinary expertise of the Barge 8 group from Australia who will be Principals of the Paper Planes Beach Club featuring a Tokyo Pop cuisine, Panarea House, which has the spirit of an Italian Steakhouse and the Lagoon Lounge Restaurant and function facility.

Barge 8 are masters of playing to every sense simultaneously; great food, atmosphere and the best music are all features of the Paper Planes experience.

PATRICK BLANC is the esteemed French botanist, scientist and designer that pioneered the concept of the vertical garden wall – an innovative technique for growing plants on vertical surfaces without the use of soil. His work can be seen on walls around the globe. Blanc states, “I gather inspiration every day from nature” which is inspiring to the majority of us who are simply not used to seeing buildings adorned with greenery to such an extent. Blanc uses his profound knowledge of the world’s extensive selection of plant life, particularly drawing inspiration from flora found in Thailand, Hawaii and Bali.
