International Architect Selection for Nottingham’s new creative village

Dance4, the East Midland’s flagship dance organisation has embarked on the initial development stage of a new capital project, working title ‘Nottingham Creative Village’ (NCV). The vision for NCV is to create a centre of local, regional, national and international significance that provides world class facilities for Dance4 and the creative industries. A 21st Century workspace that will enable Nottingham to celebrate its creative heart on the international stage.

Working with Rotherham based capital development managers, Eye, Dance4 issued a public notice in October last year calling for architects to submit expressions of interest in designing the new space.

After being inundated with submissions, Dance4 have now selected five architects to present outline statements and designs for the project by 19 February. Whilst the selected architects are varied in practice size and backgrounds they each have inspiring ideas on the development of creative sector workspace.
