Location: northernmost city in Sweden, in Lapland.

The city of Kiruna invites to an pre-qualification to an architecture competition about the city hall in Kiruna. Five competitors will be invited and this architecture competition will start after the competition about the new city center is finished.

Preliminary competition schedule:

Final date for submitting notification of interest: 3 Dec 2012

Notification of the result of pre-qualification: 18 Jan 2013

Competition programme to be sent out once results have been decided: 28 Feb 2013

Kick-off meeting with the five selected firms of architects: 14 Mar 2013

Submission of competition proposals: 29 May 2013

Jury’s decision: 9 Aug 2013
