The Surf Club Four Seasons in Florida
The Surf Club Four Seasons, the Richard Meier & Partners-designed luxury residential and hotel development, has officially “topped out,” marking a major achievement for the project.
Boasting 965 feet of Atlantic Ocean frontage on nine pristine acres, the development, which preserves the landmark Russell Pancoast-designed Surf Club, celebrated the addition of three new translucent glass buildings by Richard Meier, his first project in Surfside, Florida.
With occupancy slated for Spring 2016, The Surf Club Four Seasons, which is branded and managed by the Four Seasons, the world’s leading luxury hospitality company, will create a unique hospitality and residential experience.
The development features an 77-room Four Seasons Hotel; two 12-story residential towers comprised of 150 homes, including 12 penthouses; a private membership club; two restaurants; four swimming pools; a state-of-the-art spa and fitness center; more than 40 beach cabanas; and an expansive park and oceanside gardens. Kobi Karp is the architect of record on the project.
With interiors and finishes by Richard Meier, in collaboration with internationally renowned designer Lee Mindel, the residences are 75% percent sold since launching sales earlier this year with the opening of the Richard Meier Pavilion, a glass structure located in front of a pristine beach and ocean at the historic Surf Club.
The pavilion offers prospective buyers a unique opportunity to experience Surf Club designs firsthand – including a furnished model residence that immerses visitors in the light, air and sweeping interiors that will be the trademarks of the Surf Club’s private residences.
With fifty-one unique floor plans, all of the homes have a special attention to detail and style. Ranging in size from 1,400 to almost 8,000 square feet, with floor-to-ceiling glass “walls” and up to twenty-foothigh ceilings, the residences also feature effortless “lift and glide” terrace doors that lead out to spacious terraces that range up to 18 feet in depth, with frameless glass balcony railings.
The limited edition penthouses are uniquely distinguished by their exceptional designs. Crowning the North and South towers, the simplex, duplex and triplex penthouses range in size from 5,400 to 7,500 interior square feet and include vast amounts of private outdoor entertaining and recreational areas.
Completely open to the sky, these luscious spaces include rooftop gardens, private swimming pools, outdoor living and dining rooms, summer kitchens and multilevel outdoor courtyards.
All of the penthouses include designated private beachfront cabanas and air-conditioned private parking garages.
Developed by Fort Partners, a Miami-based private real estate investment company, residences at The Surf Club Four Seasons, located at 9011 Collins Avenue, range from $3 million to $35 million.
