Location: Eyüp, Istanbul, western Turkey
The Marriage Hall project which was designed upon the request of Eyup Municipality, has been considered as a kind of structural landscape component combining the level difference between the pedestrian way and the sea with a walking ramp on the waterfront of Golden Horn, in Eyup.
The platforms located at different levels organize various functions of marriage hall as components of structural landscape.
This landscape enables public use of the buildings both inside and outside. With this quality, the building distinguishes itself from the other marriage halls built in Turkey.
