Design: COOP HIMMELB(L)AU. Crystal Cloud of Knowledge: The future society will be a society of knowledge. However this knowledge can hardly be split into clearly defined fields. Innovations develop within interspaces, within indistinctness, within the overlapping and hybridising.
Design: Arte Charpentier Architectes. Located in the eastern suburbs of Lyon, this innovative campus is arranged around a garden designed as an agora. The building houses a professional training centre for environment, energy, transport, waste and water sectors.
Design: Populous. The largest new stadium built before this summer’s tournament, the Grand Stade de Lyon reflects the culture and community of the club and the city of Lyon.
Design: Dietmar Feichtinger Architectes. The footbridge links the conference centre and St. Claire plus two major parks either side of the river. The bridge has a free span of 157m with an extremely slender structure.
Design: rue royale architectes. A co-educational 96-bed boarding house with communal areas in addition to the teaching facilities composed of several heterogeneous entities, located on the Coin estate, 12 kilometres from Lyon.

The OPAC du Rhône housing association has produced a building which incorporates 33 social rental housing units, 1,500m2 of office space dedicated to health-related activities, and has retail space throughout the ground floor.
Confluence Institute for Innovation and Creative Strategies in Architecture. Design: Studio Odile DECQ architectes urbanistes. The Confluence is a new institution for architectural education and research based on an evolving and radical understanding of research, experimentation and trans-disciplinarity.
Design: Pierre Vurpas et Associés Architectes. A stone pebble cut like a diamond, a mineral forecourt that reaches out to draw in passers-by, a glass facade like an ever-changing skyscape, gilded like copper, words from the old French dictionary engraved into the glass panels, illuminated by curtains of woven metal: La Passerelle, a new cultural space for Trévoux, slots into the gap next to the hospital like a missing piece of the puzzle creating a perfect blend of history and contemporary architecture.
Passerelle de la Paix, Lyon, France. Design by Dietmar Feichtinger Architectes. The Grand Lyon is building a new pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the Rhone. The bridge will link the 6th arrondissement in Lyon to the Park of Saint‐Clair at Caluire‐et‐Cuire. On 12 December a highlight of the bridge construction will take place.
