Jonathan Glancey, FRIBA is an architectural critic and writer who was the architecture and design editor at The Guardian from 1997 to 2012. He previously held the same post at The Independent.
This British writer also has been involved with the architecture magazines Building Design (BD), Architectural Review, The Architect and Blueprint. He is an honorary fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, RIBA.
Dr Charles Jencks, architectural theorist and critic, landscape architect and sculptor, has died. Educated at Harvard and London universities, he defined Late, New and Post-Modern architecture and co-founded Maggie’s Centres.
