The Olympic Sculpture Park has transformed a nine-acre industrial site into open and vibrant green space for art.
The project has been commissioned by the city of Ordos. It is an open Buddhist temple located on the outskirts of the Ordos desert, an area that is currently used for meditation and religious ceremonial offerings, Mongolian Buddhist rituals dictated the design.
The design inspiration comes from Herman Miller’s core products; Work Chairs. Herman Miller’s extensive range of work chairs produced over the years embodies their philosophy, culture and aspirations.

The apartment is part of a typical Lisbon old building. It’s long proportion produces a set of spaces on which the presence of natural light is the main challenge.
Given the reduced program size and the location of the land parcel, the idea was to insert most of the program elements in a high vertical volume.
At 150sqm, the project was modest in its footprint but sets a clear example of digitally fabricated interiors, and a prototype to see how these projects perform. In early conversations with the client, priorities were quickly realized.

Keith Griffiths was brought up in St David’s between 1960 and 72. He left the U.K in 1982 and set up his own architectural practice in Hong Kong in 1985. He acquired the castle in 2008 following long negotiations with the previous owners.
The building is Bruner/Cott’s second for the university – and the outcome of an invited design competition that included six Boston firms. The university sought creative approaches to developing a center that integrated services and social activities, and established a new institutional presence on campus and in the community.
