Tomás Saraceno’s artistic project Aerocene is a series of air-fuelled sculptures that will float in the longest, most sustainable journey around the world without engines, becoming buoyant only by the heat of the Sun and infrared radiation from the surface of Earth.
The Mill, Scottish Borders by WT Architecture – shortlisted for the RIBA House of the Year
Borders Steading is collection of disused farm buildings that nestles into a steep hill overlooking a valley in the Scottish Borders. The mill building was converted into modern, rural holiday home that retained much of its historic character.
The scheme design by Conran and Partners, located on the south-west edge of the city alongside the Tama River, comprises a total of 400,000 sqm of retail, office, leisure and residential building, as well as a new city park.

This stand-alone contemporary villa set in the Sussex countryside is an exceptional retreat. Externally the house is quietly confident, with its row of low-profile roof pyramids, windows positioned to take advantage of the views and a muted colour palette of materials.

A-cero presents one of his latest works. In this case, it is a public building which holds a cultural and leisure center for Getafe village, in the outskirts of Madrid.

The supperclub has found a new location in the Odeon building on the Singel. It offers a “complete harmony of food, drinks, lights and sound, merged into an atmosphere that offers an escape from the everyday world.”
AGi architects will be celebrating their 10th anniversary next year and the design firm founded by architects Joaquin Perez-Goicoechea and Nasser Abulhasan in 2006 has launched an international design competition for the 2016 New Year’s Greeting Card.
