Design by AGi architects. This building stands as a pioneer in the healthcare sector, where challenging issues such as privacy and security are addressed using a new model, where courtyards attached to the façade are the driving element behind this unique typology.
Design: Studio C102, architects. Fit-out of the first 8,000sqft 1Rebel, a new luxury boutique brand of gyms located in St Mary’s Axe, London. Originally conceived as an office, the building has been stripped down and reconfigured into a contemporary, industrial space which is balanced in luxury and theatrical glamour.
Design: Ernesto Pereira, architects. “SilverWoodHouse, is my presentation to the world of design, architectural and constructive, my route in the course of a project / work, moves from its conception to its construction”.
Global Founders unveiled for a new online platform developed by sustainability charity Bioregional that will make going green easier. It will provide free tools for the sustainable design of buildings.
Design: Christian von Düring architecte. One of the aims with this project was to encourage the advantages of shared living while keeping the individuality of each home. By the position of the garages and the entrances, each house is accessed through a private courtyard.

Self-Build on a Shoestring competition: the design of a starter home which incorporates used and non-recyclable coffee cups as both construction and insulation has been shortlisted for a national building award.
Bradley + McAleenan Architects news
Award-winning architect Patrick Bradley has teamed up with fellow designer Bernard McAleenan to open their new offices in Chelsea. Patrick gained recognition for his Grand Designs new-build made from storage containers.

A Chilean university building by ELEMENTAL has won the architecture category of the Design Museum’s Design of the Year Award.
The top prize went to the UC Innovation Centre building in Chile.
