The £250 million Defence College of Logistics, Policing and Administration (DCPLA) at Worthy Down in Hampshire design by HLM Architects receives planning approval through delegated powers from Winchester City Council.
Design: Penoyre & Prasad, architects. The 13,600sqm scheme comprises an 80-bed nursing home, 51 affordable Extra Care flats and 48 affordable and market-supported living apartments with a shared community hub at its heart.
Design: AZC, architects. This project provides sheltered housing for frail, elderly residents with a variety of disabilities. The building comprises individual studio apartments, communal areas and medical consultation rooms for residents and out-patients.
The show is focusing on construction projects and developments in the north and is a great chance to create new business connections and network with industry professionals across the UK. The event will feature the major contractors, suppliers, architects, developers and many more construction industry professionals from across the region.
Design: Dr Margot Krasojevic. The project introduces a series of tethered floating levee piers to divert rising water levels, these striated interlocking elements are positioned where freshwater meets saltwater to the east of the delta, protecting the freshwater wetlands by filtering and diverting.
