This tower building located along East 44th Street between First and Second Avenues in Midtown East looks to be stalling.
The tower developers are Triangle Assets, with a design by ODA Architecture.
The tower proposal includes 44 condominiums, between 1,000 to 2,000 square feet in area.

The site is still home to two small red buildings, four stories and three stories tall.

The architects describe the 44th Street tower like this, “Stretching the program vertically, 16 foot high gaps are created between every two apartments forming sculptural gardens with direct access from every apartment. Every 2800 square foot apartment in the upper portion of the building, is one floor and is complimented by a 1400 square foot private garden.”

The building is due to be around 600 feet high, with 88,000 square feet of space. Renders were first revealed in 2015.

Units in the skyscraper are divided by a series of sculptural, organic voids and flaring columns that form private outdoor landscaped terraces.
