New York, NY, July 11, 2011 – Established by the Society of American Registered Architects, the SARA Awards recognize design excellence and encourage client participation in achieving the best in the built environment. Four projects by Ennead Architects have received 2011 SARANY Awards:

POLSHEK PARTNERSHIP ARCHITECTS IS HONORED WITH EIGHT AWARDS FOR DESIGN EXCELLENCE

New York, June 9, 2009 – Continuing its tradition of acclaimed architecture, Polshek Partnership Architects is proud to receive awards from the Municipal Art Society, The Society of American Registered Architects and the Public Design Commission of the City of New York.

On June 9, the Municipal Art Society will honor the year’s top building projects for excellence in architecture and urban design, and for their contribution to New York’s built environment. The Standard Hotel, the new meatpacking-district hotel that spans the High Line, is this year’s winner of the MASterworks Award for Best New Building. Design Partner Todd Schliemann and hotelier Andre Balazs will accept the award at this year’s ceremony, taking place at the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center, the campus center for Parsons The New School for Design.

Polshek Partnership’s work will again be celebrated on June 23, at the Battery Gardens by The Society of American Registered Architects. Six projects have won SARA Awards, which were established to recognize design excellence and encourage client participation in achieving the best in the built environment.

Weill Greenberg Center:

Since 1982, the Public Design Commission of the City of New York has recognized outstanding public projects with its Annual Awards for Excellence in Design. The winning projects are selected by the Commission from the hundreds of submissions reviewed each year and exemplify the highest design standards. Polshek Partnership Architects will receive a Special Recognition Award for the design of the Staten Island Courthouse, parking garage and Memorial Green, at an event to take place at the New Museum of Contemporary Art on July 1.

Susan T Rodriguez, Design Partner, and Joseph Fleischer, Management Partner, lead the design team. The Staten Island Courthouse is a project of the Mayor’s Office of the Criminal Justice Coordinator, New York State Office of Court Administration, and the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York.
