Design: Park Associati, architects. A living unit designed to be moved around and placed on existing buildings in highly visible locations. Designed to be used as a restaurant and much more, the pavilion was installed on top of Palazzo Beltrami in Piazza della Scala.
Design: Architektonicka kancelar Burian – Krivinka. The new entrance building into Punkva Caves has replaced an old unsuitable structure. The characteristic feature of the building is a gently bent roof, which must withstand boulder falls from the surrounding limestone cliff.
Design: Plazma, architects
The pool has the potential as a social condenser. Even though the programme was restricted to indoor pools, the design tries to put in as much as possible open air activities and public space.
Design: Enter Projects. At 7m tall and 9.5m wide, this addition to a federation period style home took only months to complete. The abundant natural light that shines through its wide glass entrance enhances the urban chic vibe from its bright white and green interior.

“An ensemble of all sorts becomes an ensemble as such”. A grand, nineteenth century façade, a structure of ‘stacked tables’ and a leitmotif of shining, black volumes form together the new social services centre in Ledeberg.
Design: Chad Oppenheim, architects. A minimalistic, elegant and comfortable beach house that blends into its breathtaking surroundings in Harbour Island, Bahamas.
Design: MMXX Architects. The building is set in the historic centre of Varna, near the port, in an area known for trade and town administration. It takes up a corner plot framed by blind walls. The 5 floors are designed as offices to let, together or separately.
The next chapter of the $2.9 billion regeneration of Brisbane’s RNA Showgrounds starts with the construction of Kings Co-op, a mixed and adaptive re-use development designed by Australasian architects The Buchan Group.
Design: Henke Schreieck Architekten. Four city districts with different structures meet at the Erste Campus site: The location at the former Südbahnhof Railway Station at the opposite of the Swiss Garden was the primary starting point for the urban planning concept.
The dominant feature of the Corbusian building is the rippling facade that uses a clever smoothing device to create waves from a sawtooth plan (the block is double-loaded ie from a central corridor).
Design: Pichler & Traupmann Architekten. Over the existing level, which lies below the top of the historical fortified wall, a new plateau is constructed. It is clearly separated from the town wall by a distinct joint.
Design: gerner°gerner plus architects
An uncluttered appearance was particularly important for the additional storage areas required. The latter found a home in spaces with a contrasting and completely different design to that of the box.
Design: Schulz und Schulz. This building was awarded the Best Church of the Year, one of the prestigious World Architecture Festival Awards 2016: the building has a central public space with an “ingenious concept”.
Design: Burwell Deakins Architects and Levitt Bernstein Architects. £9.3m project to transform a Refectory and an underused service yard into a vibrant social space and courtyard, restoring the historic splendour of the heart of the university and improving campus connectivity.
