The Old Courthouse Rothesay, Isle of Bute

Dalmore Distillery Alness, Ross-Shire
The waters of the River Alness (River Averon), which runs through the village, are used to produce the Dalmore distillery single malt scotch whisky. The distillery is owned and operated by Whyte and Mackay Ltd, which is owned by Philippines based Emperador Inc.
Ettrick Valley House: Borders Weavers Cottage
This a rather sobre and restrained building set in the heart of the Scottish Borders, the bad weather photographs make it look a little lonely, but the timber styling is typically good quality as one would expect from this design-led architecture practice.
