Comprised of two buildings, the new £25M scheme will include over 120,000 square feet of office space and will include the Grade II listed George and Railway hotel which will be restored as part of the development.
The announcement presents a significant step forward for club, whose plans for the 30,000-seat stadium on greenbelt land at Ashton Vale received an 8-1 “minded to approve” verdict from the local council’s Planning Committee last month.
